We service children ages 6-19 with age appropriate etiquette and leadership training courses.

Our Philosophy

We believe that it is through knowledge that opportunities are created.  We want to present the social skills, personal development and leadership training that are often acquired outside the classroom. We believe that lack of protocol and leadership skills often creates barriers to personal achievement.  We intent to provide a medium that fills the gap of knowledge between text books and success. By providing the tools and techniques required to transition into adulthood, our children will be empowered to take advantage of opportunities availed to those whose thought processes and choices support a future that includes a high quality of life.

What We Discovered

In January 2009, we conducted a demographic feasibility study of the student status in Clayton County.  Our findings revealed that in any given school year in

there are potentially 26,000 teen students.  Ten percent or 2,600 could drop out of high school during or shortly after the sophomore year; 4,341 will graduate, but not qualify for college and/or the Hope Scholarship; 6,000 will carry a child and/or give birth; 4,000 will be arrested for a crime and potentially 44% of these 26,000 will have access to illicit drugs and use or try them for the first time. 

Our children are at risk and our society is likely to write them off as delinquent because they display characteristics of defiance toward social morals and standards – leaving them to struggle in their futures for the basic necessities of life.

The Decorum Group has undertaken the goal of supporting the development of our children to create independent, stand-alone citizens who take charge of their lives and become producers.  To meet the world on its own terms and manage ones life appropriately takes self-esteem.  We help children build self-esteem by providing the knowledge, skills, tools and resources to transition our children into adulthood with the options available to make informed, caring and meaningful choices that will create and sustain a stable and independent lifestyle.
